The New York Times weighs The Axe.

Thanks to everyone who has alerted me to this review in the New York Times. You may have to register to see it. It's free to do so.

Otherwise you can look at the same article that also ran in the International Herald Tribune.

Now that you're famous, you'll have to get yourself one of dem white suits like Tom Wolfe wears during book tours! ;-)

Amazing--and mazingly non-snippy for a NY Times review (their reviewers are mostly selected for their ability to make snide comments). You survived unscathed and with a heap of praise. Too cool.

Thanks James, Nik, Ian, cfr, Anne, Richard and David.

I liked CSI: St Petersburg too, though perhaps I shouldn't? Does that make me part of the franchise now?

David, that's how I feel: like I survived!
